Commercial Tile Installation
Tile work for business properties in Boerne and the surrounding Hill Country. We understand project schedules, material specifications, and what commercial spaces actually require.
What Sets Commercial Work Apart
Commercial tile installation differs from residential work in ways that matter. The tile itself needs to meet higher wear ratings for heavy foot traffic. For floors that will see regular use by the public, ADA slip-resistance requirements (a dynamic coefficient of friction of at least 0.42 on wet surfaces) are part of the specification, not optional. Grout joints in commercial spaces are often sized to accommodate the specific tile format while allowing for the expansion that comes with temperature variation in larger floor areas.
We also work around business schedules. If a space needs to remain partially operational during installation, we plan the work in phases. If the job needs to happen on weekends or evenings to avoid disruption, we accommodate that.
Spaces We Work In
The commercial properties we tile in the Boerne and Hill Country area vary considerably. Some are new builds where we are coordinating with a general contractor. Others are renovations of existing spaces where the old tile needs to come out and the substrate needs assessment before new tile goes down.
Office Lobbies
Entry floors and reception areas where the tile is the first impression. Large-format porcelain and natural stone are common choices.
Retail Spaces
High-traffic floors that need to hold up to foot traffic and look clean. We specify tile with appropriate PEI ratings for the expected use.
Hospitality Properties
Restaurants, hotels, and event venues where design matters alongside durability. We work from architectural specs or help develop them.
Fitness and Wellness
Locker rooms, pool surrounds, and spa areas. Waterproofing and slip-rated tile are non-negotiable in these environments.
Where We Work
Commercial tile installation is available in Cordillera Ranch, Boerne, and Fair Oaks Ranch. We are familiar with the commercial development patterns along the SH 46 corridor and the IH-10 frontage areas in Boerne.
